Amedspor Fandom Study

The findings titled , “Amedspor Supportership Among Kurds” compiled from research conducted by KSC, have been published.

According to the findings:

• One quarter of adult Kurds do not support any football team.

• Among Kurds aged 18 and over who support a team:

  • The share of those whose primary team is Amedspor increased from 4.3% to 7.6% over two years (a 77% increase).

  • The share of those whose secondary team is Amedspor rose from 4.4% to 19.9% over two years (a 463% increase).

  • The combined share of those who list Amedspor as their primary or secondary team increased from 8.7% to 27.5% over two years (a 316% increase).

• The number of Kurds aged 18 and over who support Amedspor as their primary or secondary team is at least 2.5 million.
