Domination and Resistance: A Century of Kurdish Madrasas / Seçil Bozkurt

At the 12th session of the “Kurdish Studies Talks” organized by the Kurdish Studies Center (KSC), Seçil Bozkurt discussed the transformation of Kurdish madrasas from the founding of the Republic to the present day, their interactions with actors in the region’s political conflict environment, and the impact of political and social changes on these madrasas.

The Kurdish Studies Center (KSC) was established in Diyarbakır by a group consisting of civil society, academia, and various other social circles. As a research and think tank organization, KSC aims to produce objective knowledge to understand and promote understanding of the transformation and change experienced by the Kurdish society in Türkiye, the Middle East, and the diaspora, as well as other communities living in our region.
